When to Order Fall Sports Jerseys (Before It's Too Late)

Between finalizing the roster, picking sizes, approving art, and running production, a realistic order needs 3 to 5 weeks from "let's do this" to boxes in hand — more if you're adding embroidered logos on top of everything else. If your first game or scrimmage is in early September, the order needs to go in now, not after Labor Day.
What Actually Slows an Order Down
It's rarely the printing itself. It's waiting on a final roster, chasing down sizes from twenty different parents, or deciding on art after the deadline has already passed. Lock in three things early and the rest moves fast: final player count (with a couple extras for late signups), a size chart collected in one place, and approved artwork before you request a quote. Teams that show up with those three things ready can go from quote to production the same week.
Screen Printing vs. Vinyl: Getting Logos and Numbers Right
Team logos, mascots, and sponsor names on the back go on with bulk screen printing (12 piece minimum) — it holds up to a full season of practices and washes, and once the design exists, reordering the same jersey for a new player later is fast since the screens are already made. Player names and numbers are a different job entirely: those go on with heat-pressed vinyl, which is the only way we do names and numbers. It lets us personalize each jersey individually without cutting a new screen for every number on the roster — numbers are never screen printed.
